Whether we are worthy of Hope Eduardo Galeano from

Whether we are worthy of hope, desperately
May we have the courage to be alone, and the valor of our venture to unite us, because it serves nothing to the tooth out of the mouth, or finger out of hand.
May we be disobedient, whenever we receive orders that demean our conscience or violate common sense.
May we deserve to be treated crazy, like mad were treated the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, because we have committed the folly of us refuse to forget the time when the amnesia was mandatory.

May we be so stubborn to continue to believe, against all evidence, that the human condition is worth it, because if we were poorly done we are not finished.

What we may be able to continue to walk the path of the wind, despite the failures, betrayals and defeats, as the story continues, far beyond us, and when she says "Goodbye", she is telling us: "Goodbye."
May we keep alive the certainty that it is possible to be compatriot and contemporary of every human being whose life is driven by the desire for justice and the will to beauty, no matter where they live, whatever the time he lived, for there is no boundaries on maps of the soul, nor those of time. Eduardo Galeano

I love this text I do mine early this year Sr. Eliane
